"Private Foundation-List" Petition for referendum
Being able to freely discuss the future of GNOME Foundation is key to our longterm success. To discourage trade journalists from making awful claims out of individual Foundation members' opinions and extending it to GNOME Foundation or GNOME Community at large, it would help to have a foudation-list that has private archives, and limited to Foundation members.
The people below, members of the GNOME Foundation, request that a referendum be held to make foundatoin-list archives private and membership limited to actual GNOME Foundation membership. Alternatively, at the discretion of the Foundation board, a new foundation-private list may be created that has private archives and limited to foundation members.
Note: A request to hold a referendum does not necessarily indicate support for the referendum. However, a request to hold one should clearly state what the referendum will ask for.
