• We might want to require SWAG centers to subscribe to the GitLab label for SWAG

Stickers

• Recruit visual designers for stickers on social media

  • Hex sticker spec: https://github.com/terinjokes/StickerConstructorSpec

  • Provide source image files from previous stickers

• ACTION: Nuritzi & Michael to create issues for the hex stickers and ping Sri when done. Add a newcomer friendly tag?

• ACTION: Sri helps promote

• ACTION: Michael to look into Buffer for easing cross-posting to multiple networks

  • In the past we used foundation-list to announce events and conferences we were attending, speaking, etc
  • We need to plan for events better

    • ACTION: Let's explore migrating the targeted events pages to GitLab @Sri, Nuritzi

    • ACTION: @Nuritzi and @Sri to trial this with SCALE 16x

Release planning

• Is there someone else who can write release notes?
• @Sri would love to send ISOs to reporters a week in advance to get reviews and write articles on the releases. Could be something for the future.
  • There's a concern about the ISOs being based on a particular distro
  • We may not need a live image, sometimes there aren't features that people really want to try

  • This should be done by about March 5th

• ACTION: need to find press contacts and send the release notes and screenshots to press, @Nuritzi and Sri to find the list of press contacts

Social Media Accounts and Passwords

• the GNOME alias on Twitter is registered to an alias (microblogs@gnome.org) that forwards to Allan's email

• Allan used to have the password for this
• We should have an email that is managed by the sysadmins
• There's a page where we used to keep track of who has access to all of the accounts. We need to find and update it.

• ACTION: Nuritzi file a bug to create an alias for engagement team stuff like Stickermule

• ACTION: Sri to change the Mastadon account to the engagement alias

• ACTION: File a bug for @Rosanna and @Sri to be added to the microblogs email alias so that they have Twitter password

• ACTION: Find the page that has all the account info and which aliases exist + who has access to them. Need to update the page. (Ask Rosanna about it)
