Here we discuss details regarding the mails we send to Friends of GNOME members.
Ideas
- Send a donation letter every quarter in a newsletter format
- Send the donation letter in html format, or link to a html version
- come up with a design
- Set up an automated thank you email, to be sent on the anniversary that the account was set up.
- When we run a campaign, send an email advertising it to Friends of GNOME members.
- Automatically send emails to donors on the anniversary they started to donate
Infrastructure for handle Paypal exists (http://hg.cryptobitch.de/gnome-paypal)
- The infrastructure is not considered to be a final solution (seems to work reasonably well though).
