The basic ideas for the theme to be customizable

• The image/logo of the event should be uploaded which will be rendered by the theme.
• ^Same with the footer.
• Similarly the logos of all the sponsors should be uploaded, which will be displayed on the home page.
• Schedule should be updated when it is updated in the backend(which maybe OSEM as of now).

Will have to make it possible to do all the uploads like the ones mentioned above via the backend framework (OSEM as of now).

2013-07-10 FabianaSimoes: I believe the logo/skyline thing should be done through WordPress (considering we will use it for building the theme). The sponsor logos are trickier. AFAIK, they are only used in the website and not much relevant to the Management System itself. From that perspective, it would be better to register logos through WP, so that we can loop on them and easily output sponsor info in the website. On the other hand, it might be a bit odd to have two ways to perform "register" operations, one in OSEM (for talks, speakers, and all the rest) and one in WP for sponsors.
