What are your plans for GNOME 2.22 (next 4 months, before feature and UI freezes)?
- I've not had as much time as I'd like to work on FUSA recently, but it has had a lot of very good work done by the distros downstream. I see my major role for 2.22 as going through and merging all the downstream patches.
What are your plans for GNOME 2.24 (next year)?
- I want to talk to the distros and the gdm people and figure out some common ground between all of us.
Do you have plans for a future release?
- What, like am I ever going to release again? Yes, of course.
Do you have any goals from 2.20 that were not achieved? Why?
- Yes, I meant to get a lot more patch-merging done and failed. In particular the dbus stuff stands out as something that should have been universally available and wasn't.
Is there something that is really missing in our infrastructure or platform that would help you?
No, not really. Thirty-six hour days would be nice
Do you have plans to work on other modules not maintained by you? What are they?
- I often do minor work to help out on other modules, but I don't have time to do anything major, unfortunately. So no concrete plans.
Do you have any GNOME-wide goals suggestions for the next releases?
- No. But it will be fabulous.
