Things they do not like

  • I want to be able to resize windows with alt-right-click.
  • Get older developers.
  • Drag and drop selected text to the desktop. new file appears somewhere else that where I let go the button.
  • Nautilus is to slow. I use pcmanfm instead.
  • That's a feature not a bug.
  • KDE does not start when I execute: gnome-bin.
  • 113802 (https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=113802).

  • Totem doesn't have any option to setup codec behaviour! Neither cache size for the hardware filesystems.
  • Not enough preference settings.
  • Drawers don't close automatically and are very hard to close, if placed on an autohide panel.
  • When I click the gnome main menu, there is some hard-disk access and this causes a 3 seconds delay for displaying. Can't it stay in RAM?
  • Popup positioning (especially in panel).
  • Lax integration, dnd often does not work.
  • Nothing I can think of.
  • Gnome canvas sucks.
  • I want to hide the gnome panel with a keyboard shortcut. (bug requested in 2002).
  • Configuration laptop tools are not easy to have multi-profile configurations.
  • GConf is not for users.
  • libnotify and mathusalem should be more used to improve user experience.
  • Autotools #4¤%!@!x?
  • Gnome-terminal does not support 256 color ansi escape sequence.
  • Put the #@!% Cancel button at the right place, please.
  • Bonobo!
  • The PDF reader lacks bigger/smaller zoom buttons. Now it only shows 100% or 150% but I don't care about percentage, only larger or smaller.
  • That footstep is UGLY.
  • Huge memory footprint.
  • There is a _CLEAR_ lack of naked women for the wallpapers.
  • Fix the bug in gksu ( muhiwa_pierre@yahoo.fr ).

  • No good mobile phone support integration (bluetooth). What about bluetooth manager?
  • Printing landscape in Gnumeric is black art.
  • There is no way to enable Emacs keybindings.
    • Thats because Emacs is not an easy way to edit text, use Vim.
  • When will we finally get a featureful and free PDF viewer? Evince sucks with complex PDF documents.
  • I want to close windows with the middle mouse button. KTHX. _LINUS_
  • I can't configure anything to do with printing.
  • PRINTING.
  • GAIM pops up crap all the time when I am typing. Also when I am not typing.
    • GAIM is not GNOME. Use Gossip.
    • That "crap", those are your friends speaking to you.
  • Gnome power manager keeps crashing on my acer laptop. Switching to KDE.
  • Missing a global PIM accesible from all major apps 8contacts, scheduler, ...
    • EDS!
  • Mono based apps.
  • Gnome does not run on Nintendo DS lite.
    • But it runs on PS3.
  • Gnome-cups Icon likes to kill cpu and ram.
  • Someone to pay MDK to finish Diva.
  • Tabs in Nautilus.
    • Better MDI than tabs.
    • MDI is broken concept.
    • Then why tabs? Better window list instead?
    • Good question!
  • File dialog doesn't listen to "single click to open" setting.
  • File dialog Box: What about drag-to-save.

  • Evulution is way to heavy.
  • Evolution is crap, but I like it.

  • Gnome should use qt!! :)

    • Qt should use gtk!
      • Gtk should use #asm
  • Dual monitor setup is #$!@! especialy is 2 different servers.
    • Screw you, keith.

  • The clock in the panel fails to take the BG color into account for transparent panels.
  • Nautilus with "single click open" option is hard to use for selecting / unselecting.
