Hi. Second semester of the PhD and we are going to undesrtand how the things works. First of all, no educational software should be propriety of no company. For educational purposes a software MUST be open source. And every content, for very easy to understand rules, must be under something like the commons licence.

I am not a licence specialist, but it is easy to understand what occurs alogn education if the production becomes proprierty of someone.

I want to bring to the region I lived for almost my entire life in Brazil a possible approach of use of a good free operational system with a good interactive free educational content over it. But may be this path will demand other paths to achieve it.

It passed around six months also that I started to use Gnome 3.7.x + Fedora. I call it Gnoma (I'm lying. I just invented it now) in my one core, old computer. Innitially I did it because the audience for which the project is driven. But I must say that after a day-by-day intense use of Gnome it became my preferable choice.

It has the best cost-benefit of all operational systems I used and I trust it - what is not a little thing in this world.

Cheers.
