Step 1: Create a justin.tv account to Broadcast

For GNOME 3 Launch Party, We want to broadcast our party to others.

We use justin.tv website for Video streaming. Please create an account with justin.tv first.

Please visit justin.tv website to create account.

Please fill your information to create an account.

Step 2: Prepare to Broadcast your party

Broadcast with Smart Phone

*** Install package for Android Phone users ***

Please use your Android phone visit http://www.justin.tv

It will be redirect to http://www.justin.tv/static/android_promo

Please click Get the App botton to install justin.tv package.

Or you can search justin.tv in the Market, and install it.

You can find it on https://market.android.com/details?id=tv.justin.android

*** Install package for iPhone users ***

Please use your Android phone visit http://www.justin.tv

It will be redirect to http://www.justin.tv/static/iphone_promo

Please click Get the App botton to install justin.tv package.

Start Broadcasting with smart phone(Android and iphone)

Please launch the justin.tv program at Android/iphone

Please Sign In with your justin.tv account.

Please click the Record(Red) Botton start broadcasting.

Broadcast with PC

For Desktop or Notebook users, please connect your webcam correctly.

Please go to http://www.justin.tv and login with your account.

Please click Go Live to start broadcasting.

Or click Webcam to start broadcasting.

There is a little problem with Linux and Adobe flash player for private setting.

You can not click Allow in Adobe flash player with Linux.

How to fix it?

Setting up private permission by ourself.

Please go to http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager06.html

Please find out www-cdn.justin.tv website, and Set up Always Allow.

Please close all windows with browser.

And go to http://www.justin.tv , login with your account.

Please click Go Live to start broadcasting.

Or click Webcam to start broadcasting.

Please click Start -- Start Broadcasting.

Title your Broadcast

Please fill your Title with your launch party. To help other people find your broadcasting.

You can use some key word. Ex: GNOME3 / GNOME3 Launch Party

Please click Save begin to broadcasting.

You can share your broadcasting with Facebook and Twitter.

And you can chat with the others while you are broadcasting.
