Why?

Who?

Anybody can hold a GNOME 44 release party, including user groups, FOSS communities, distro communities, universities, NGOs, and companies.

Note: If you want to join an existing party it might be nice to contact the organizers by email so they know how many people to expect.

When?

GNOME 44 has officially been released as of Wednesday, March 22, 2023, and any time in the next few weeks is an ideal time to host a release party. We recommend having the party within about 2 weeks of the actual release day.
