Welcome to GNOME 3.32 Release Parties!

GNOME 3.22 will be officially released on March 13, 2019. This wiki page is meant to help GNOME friends from different corners of the world plan their celebrations.

Why?

• To celebrate GNOME 3.32
• To promote the GNOME 3.32 release and let everybody know about GNOME and its benefits
• To create talking points and attract local / international press to talk about GNOME
• To build awareness of GNOME in general

  • Post pictures to social media. Use hashtags #GNOMEParty and #GNOMERelease

  • Learn how to submit your photos so we can share them among the community. We may even use them for things like our website, annual report, and other important publications that help GNOME thrive.

Who?

Anybody can hold a GNOME 3.32 launch party, including user groups, FOSS communities, distro communities, universities, NGOs and companies.

Note: If you want to join an existing party it might be nice to contact the organizers by email so they know how many people to expect.

When?

GNOME 3.32 will be officially released on 13 March 2019, and around then is an ideal time to host a release party. We recommend having the party within about 2 weeks of the actual release day.
