How to apply to be a distribution center
If you would like to open a distribution center in your area, send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject line "New SWAG Center Proposal | [Your City and Country]" and information about why you think your location would be strategic as a distribution center. Members of the Engagement Team can help you put together a proposal for the Board for their approval. Please be aware of the following requirements:
Be a Foundation member. At this time, only Foundation members are eligible to become distribution centers; however, If you’re not a Foundation member and are interested, let us know and we can guide you towards Foundation membership.
Make sure that you're in a strategic area. Look at the current SWAG center locations and make the case for why you think your city would make a good distribution center and which areas you would be able to service.
Identify 1 - 2 local events you want to target. Are there events nearby that you or other GNOMEies regularly participate in or could start participating in?
Maintain an updated inventory for your center. Here’s a distribution center inventory template to help you get started.
