- send announcements to campuses in SH; encourage students to get in touch with projects that interest them immediately
- have the participating projects have specific resources for students ready, be prepared to informally mentor them, and perhaps have online bootcamps/open-houses scheduled for particular dates

- students pick projects
- work on fixing at least one bug
