Issues I noticed when using GNOME on a Tablet (tested entirely under Wayland):
This list will probably get a lot bigger as soon as my tablet is actually usable with Linux.
- everywhere
- scrolling doesn't feel snappy and is too slow
- indicate that swiping from top exits fullscreen
- csd headerbar buttons stay active (css-pseudoclass) after moving window
- using a stylus adds a second cursor in some windows
- shell
- all gestures steal focus (especially annoying with keyboard gesture)
- stylus cursor doesn't look good
- using a stylus in the overview seriously makes things go wrong
- epiphany
- moving tabs with touch is very laggy
- two finger pinch has no effect on zoom setting
- photos
- zooming is very laggy (way better in eog)
- swiping left/right to change picture imposible
- zooming out should be possible with animated zoom back in afterwards
- zooming out should not expand zoom button
- editing options should have expand/unexpand icons, should be unexpandable
- cropping doesn't work with touch
- software
- make top banner touch-slideable
- nautilus
- long press menu doesn't work with folders in home folder
moving stuff isn't working -> nothing happens (moving is somehow initiated, sidebar entries get grayed out)
- calculator
- buttons stay light colored (like on hover) after touch press
- documents
- two finger zooming impossible
- no page changing animation
- evince
- notes just look ugly, also without touch
- lollypop
- touch scrolling inside album popup causes accidential selections
