Some ideas for better GNOME usability on Tablets:
- overview
only do window DnD in overview on long touch press -> allows easily changing workspace
- make workspace switching in overview with touch more snappy (same for page switching in app list)
- do app icon DnD on long press (make app icon slightly bigger to show we're doing DnD)
- always slide out ws switcher (there's no way to slide it out without hover events)
- always show the title and close button for window clones
- shell
- maybe allow popup menu hold and release to open and select with one click/touch (not if its very quick)
- increase panel height on touch devices to make it easier target
- increase popup menu button height on touch devices
- think about touch (especially DnD) issues that might appear with multiple monitors
- make sure the same popup menu entry stays highlighted while moving slider
- notifications should be swipeable away
- make screen keyboard buttons bigger
- full screen-width keyboard with all keys of a normal keyboard?
- make gestures stick-to-finger
- more gestures
- everything
- get rid of all the two finger tap context menus on touchscreens
- figure out a way to resize windows more easy
- fix text selection and make it consistent
- figure out a way to resize sidebars
- make DnD targets bigger while dragging
- show little icon on touches and movements (like on Windows)?
- indicate the computer is working (no spinning cursor possible)
- epiphany
- add safari/edge like touchscreen and touchpad gestures
