GNOME 3 Release Party Photo Competition
The release of GNOME 3.0 is a big event, and parties have been organised all over the world to celebrate. The GNOME Project will be awarding a prize to the best photograph of a GNOME 3 release celebration, so that we can record the moment of the release.
UPDATE: The photo competition has now closed: the deadline for submissions was 24:00 UTC on Wednesday 20th April. Thank you to everyone who applied. We are already busy working through the entries to determine the winner.
How to enter
- To enter photographs for the competition, you can either:
- Upload your images to any website (like Flickr, Picasa),just tagging them with 'gnome3parties'
- Add your photo links below
- Email them to the GNOME User Groups mailing list: gugmasters-list(at)gnome(dot)org
Your photographs should be licensed with the Creative Commons CC BY licence
Prize and judging
- The best picture will be chosen by the GNOME release parties team. Pictures should convey the sense of celebration at their event.
- The winner will be awarded a GNOME 3 goodies package.
