TIHE Group Hosting a very cool and informative ThreePointZero Launch Party in my college TIHE, Delhi, India.

This page is for the members of TIHE group to plan & contribute for the Gnome Launch Party.

Introduction

We will have some talks, quiz and presentations.Followed by Live installations, features show off and opinions, free distribution of CDs containing live images of Gnome 3. Followed by some cake and food. The goal is to attract and inform students about a new GNOME release.

Exact date 10 April, 2011 from 4pm to 7pm.

Our venue will be TIHE college's auditorium (D-Block Vikaspuri Near Kamal Public School, New Delhi) The location is easily reachable through Delhi Metro (Janakpuri West Station). Material

Some stuff that we might need:

Fliers, i.e. what is GNOME, why GNOME, ... GNOME-3 installations:. Hardware (Desktop, Laptop, Projectors, Tablet, ...) would be nice to show off GNOME-3. GNOME-3 Media: A Live-CD running GNOME-3, maybe with a ready and working development environment (i.e. a *working* JHBuild setup ) A banner (2x1 meters or so) reading "GNOME" Helping People
