...I've been using Linux and mostly Gnome for about 10 years. I work in advertising, design and some development (web stuff).
I think Gnome has great potential as a desktop environment for both business and home use, and I hope to make a positive (if small) contribution to the success of the system that has made me a happy user for so many years.
