I used to co-maintain and juggle patches for the early 0.x releases of gphoto along with Scott Fritzinger in the GNOME CVS repository between 1998-2001. In 2002 I began work on the GNOME Internet Radio Locator, a GNOME application to locate Internet Radio Stations. In March 2017 I began work on the GNOME Internet Radio Locator for GNOME 3 available from the GNOME Git repository at http://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-internet-radio-locator with source releases available from http://download.gnome.org/sources/gnome-internet-radio-locator
On July 4, 2018 I began work on GNOME Gingerblue that I hope to finish in a few years around GNOME 42 sometime between 2021 and 2022.
GNOME Gingerblue is available from the GNOME Gitlab repository at http://gitlab.gnome.org/ole/gingerblue with source releases available from http://download.gnome.org/sources/gingerblue
In February 2019 I began work on GNOME Radio: Public Internet Radio Client for Accessing Free Audio Maps, my 2020 Bachelor of Science thesis in Electrical Engineering at Oslo Metropolitan University in Oslo, Norway.

There is available source code in the GNOME Radio repository on https://gitlab.gnome.org/ole/gnome-radio.git and https://download.gnome.org/sources/gnome-radio/47/gnome-radio-47.0.tar.xz is the latest GNOME Radio 47 release with 62 British Broadcasting Corporation stations and National Public Radio (Hawaii Public Radio).
On February 15, 2022 I began and on August 15, 2022 I completed work on Voice 1.0.1 - Public Voice Communication software for GNOME 44.
These days I mostly run stable releases of GNOME at home and at work, while sometimes writing some odd stuff in some of my spare time.
In the most of my spare time I enjoy playing Go, life in Oslo, pubquizzing with friends, plucking guitars, writing, travelling, meeting Oda and of course digital photography which got me interested in this particular area in GNU, GNOME and aware of the importance of Free Software, Free Public Radio and Free Culture.
