Ideas to improve my GNOME™ UX
I'm a keyboard person. I use GNOME™ because i can share tips with grandma. Here are some thoughts i can share with GNOME™ developpers so they can make me much more happier.
- please test the compiz grid extension: this was the best way to manage windows i ever saw in GNOME™ because:
- it's really easy learn and get used to
- it's the very basic someone coming from the tiling window manager world expects
- i really don't like the window decorators to waste my pixels so i used the
"pixel saver" extension (and yes i'm aware of https://blogs.gnome.org/aday/2014/08/27/gnome-design-saving-you-space-since-2009-or-so/). It doesn't work anymore because of wayland so i need a plan B. The plan B is to save more pixels using fullscreen mode but with the ability to split the screen with (<super>+(left|right) accelerators)
