Purpose: Standardize Apache configuration

Description

The GNOME Infrastructure includes a number of web sites and services spread across a number of machines. The purpose of this document is to define the standard procedure and configuration of sites.

Action

Sites should be configured using the following standards:

Red Hat

• /etc/httpd/sites.d/
  • subdomain.domain.tld.conf

• DocumentRoot: /srv/http/subdomain.domain.tld/html/

• Custom configuration (.htaccess) should go in main config (other than vendor-specific .htaccess files)
