The GNOME Foundation strongly encourage and empowers diversity and inclusion among its staff and volunteers.

Our team welcomes and encourages participation by everyone. To us it doesn’t matter how you identify yourself or how others perceive you: we welcome you.

We are a non profit organization and being open and accessible to everyone is in our fundamentals. We strongly believe that Diversity and Inclusion are key points for a healthy and successful community.

  • Open Source Diversity - This website has a lot of resources, but is geared towards European audiences. There may be opportunities to help this organization grow to include more people. It includes things like a list of open source projects which support underrepresented groups, recurring programs for mentorship, funding or networking, and more.

  • Speakerinnen - Find women who can speak on a variety of subjects related to open source. This website is sponsored by the German government and most speakers are European women.
