After a very productive GNOME+Rust hackfest in late spring in Mexico, we (participants of last hackfest) think we really could use another one to get things really going forward on this front.
Description
In this hackfest we want to improve the interoperability between Rust and GNOME, improve support of GNOME libraries in Rust and explore solutions to create GObject APIs from Rust.
Agenda, goals
- Completion of gnome-class macro to a usable state
- Gluing gnome-class and gtk-rs
- Improving gtk-rs and bindings for other GNOME libraries
