Description

The Open Help Conference is a gathering of various people working on open source documentation. There are rooms available for post-conference hackfests.

Agenda, goals

Developer Docs

  • Go over the Beginner Tutorials work done so far.
  • Discuss design of developer.gnome.org.
  • Continue work started by Phil Bull on Platform Overview.
  • Continue work on Platform Demo Tutorials (possibly updating current platform demos (bug 675003), depending on availability of GtkApplication Wizards in Anjuta (bug 675001).

User Docs

  • Look at GTG and GTranslator work done by Radina.
  • Jim mentioned Seahorse docs and rhythmbox docs.
  • gnome-help: topic audit for 3.6
  • gnome-help: contacts-* pages are all orphans... they need a home.
  • Contacts and Online Accounts help needs improvement: bug# 678112.

How to get there

The primary airport for Cincinnati is the Cincinnati / Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG). The airport is actually in Kentucky, not Ohio. It's about a 15-minute drive. There are shuttle services available. See the location page on the conference site for details.
