Relevant GNOME team

Description

10 days after the string freeze and 10 days before the GNOME 3.12 release, we gather to make sure the French translation is at its best.

Agenda, goals

  • Translate the GNOME 3.12 UI
  • Translate the GNOME 3.12 docs
  • Translate preview apps and parts of GNOME extra
  • Translate the Release Notes
  • Reduce the review queue
  • Fix French l10n bugs from bugzilla
  • Welcome newcomers and show them how we work
  • Fix the wiki along the way

Measuring your success

We expect a significant increase in percentage of translated strings, a less crowded queue of pending modules in Damned lies, less opened bug reports, a raised level of happiness for the team coordinator. :)

Costs

Our friends at Mozilla kindly provide the venue for free.

How to get there

The address is 16b boulevard Montmartre, Paris. Mozilla's website has instructions about how to get to the venue. Short summary, it's very close to the Grands Boulevards or Richelieu-Drouot (both on metro line 8 and 9). Just check a metro map to find out how to get to these stations from where you are coming from.

Accommodation and food

There's an awful lot of best japanese restaurants of Paris in Rue Sainte Anne, a few minutes from there.

Previous discussions, organization threads, drafts, relevant links, etc
