How to get there

Fly to Copenhagen (recommended)

Copenhagen Kastrup airport (CPH) is a major international airport, and there are frequent and direct trains (Øresundståg) directly from the airport terminal to Lund central station (Lund C) going via the Øresund bridge and Malmö central station. Train fare is ca. 12 EUR, and tickets have to be purchased before boarding the train. There may be passport checks on the train between Denmark and Sweden, so make sure to bring a passport or national ID card.

Fly to Malmö

Malmö airport is also an option. There are direct busses (Flygbussarna) from the airport to Lund central station (Lund C).

Train or Bus

Lund is easy to reach by train from the west (Copenhagen/Denmark), north (Gothenburg) and east (Stockholm).

Accommodation

The venue is in a university/science district towards the outskirts of town, so the main question is whether to book accommodation in the center where all the bars/restaurants are, or near the venue. Buses run until late, and it's easily walkable too, no more than 25-30 minutes.

The Elite Hotel Ideon Gateway is conveniently located for the venue. We can get a discounted room rate, please e-mail Tim or Linus for the link or ask on IRC.

There are many other hotels and AirBnB options in the city, use the usual booking engines to find them.

In case anyone is looking to share a room, just leave a comment plus email address in the attendee list above so others can get in touch.

Code of conduct

Please check the freedesktop.org code of conduct.
