Description
The GStreamer developers are meeting in Barcelona to work on GStreamer and all things multimedia.
The hackfest is an informal gathering of people interested in working on GStreamer.
Everyone with an interest in GStreamer is welcome to join, regardless of skill level!
Agenda, goals

Venue and Dates
The hackfest will be on Monday 17th and Tuesday 18th of October 2022, plus an arrival day on Sunday 16th of October. People can also join remotely on OFTC IRC in #gstreamer and #gstreamer-hackfest, or on Matrix in #gstreamer-hackfest:gnome.org (this is bridged with the IRC channel).
It will take place at Fluendo's offices in Barcelona, Spain. The offices are located at Edifici Nexus II, Carrer de Jordi Girona 29 map, next to Palau Reial metro station.
There will be evening events with food + drinks Sunday 16th and Monday 17th, details to be confirmed (e.g. #gstreamer-hackfest topic).
Start in the morning is from ca. 9.30 onwards.
Sunday 16th Welcome Event
Sunday 16th, starting at 20:30, there will be a welcome event with food and drinks at Restaurant Xiroi. If you arrive to Barcelona with time, there is a very nice walk by the seafront from Barceloneta to the restaurant.
Monday 17th Dinner
Monday 17th, starting at 20:30, the dinner will take place at Bananas, in El Born's district.

How to get to the venue
The offices are well connected by metro and bus. Google maps provides accurate information for directions using public transportation. It's also possible to arrive using any of shared mobility options available in Barcelona (bike or motorbike).
Accommodation
The offices are located outside what is considered the city center of Barcelona but they are very well connected by public transportation. Our recommendation is to stay in a more centric place, such as Les Corts, Gràcia, Eixample Dreta or Eixample Esquerra. But any place close to a connected metro station will work.
