We need fresh games for GNOME. This hackfest, like a "game jam", will inspire participants to create family friendly games in a short amount of time.

How to get there

From Europe

  • Fly to STN with Ryanair/EasyJet/whatever, then take the train or bus to Norwich or UEA
  • Fly to NWI from Amsterdam, then take a pre-booked taxi
  • Take the Eurostar to London, then take a train to Norwich

From faraway places

  • Fly to LHR or LGW, then take the tube across London, then train (or bus) to Norwich (or UEA)
  • Fly to LHR or LGW, then take the bus to Norwich or UEA
  • Fly to NWI, then take a pre-booked taxi

Accommodation and food

£74 per night for a double room or £60 per night for a single room at Broad View Lodge.

it is expected that you have contacted relevant teams or groups for your hackfest prior to proposing it, for example if you plan to do an Art hackfest, contact the Art team for ideas.
