1.2.1. Description

Since the GTK+ BOF session at GUADEC this year, we have made significant progress in many areas towards GTK+ 4. Most progress was made in GSK. The Vulkan renderer is more or less complete, we have some examples of using GSK for effects, and we are close to having our own shader compiler. Other areas still need some attention before we can declare them ready for GTK+ 4.

The focus of this hackfest will be to shorten the blocker list for GTK+ 4 and create a realistic roadmap for a GTK+ 4 release in 2018.
