1.1. Relevant GNOME team
Past and future GUADEC organisers
1.2. Description
A short, weekend hackfest for core GUADEC organisers past to come together and improve the resources which have been around for ever. The cost of the hackfest should be low as it is expected that the attendees will all be from Europe and it should take place in the GUADEC 2016 location so that the future organisers can take advantage of the collective experience and help review the resources. The hackfest should take place over a weekend (all day Saturday and most of the day on Sunday).
1.3. Agenda, goals
- Improve resources for GUADEC organisers
- Clarify which responsibilities fall to the board and which to the GUADEC organisers

1.6. How to get there
Public Transport: If you are outside of Karlsruhe go to "Karlsruhe Hbf" (main station) or Karlsruhe-Durlach. From there or large areas in the region, please head to the "Durlacher Tor/KIT Campus Süd" or "Kronenplatz" tram stations. From there you will be able to walk to the Hackfest.
Taxis: Go to the University or "KIT South Campus"
Car: As the hackfest is on the weekend and in the evening you can park on campus. There are signs guiding you to the main entrance. On weekdays there is free parking at the Waldparkplatz and in some locations in the residential areas.
The location on campus will be in the rooms of the "Fachschaft Elektro- und Informationstechnik" (Geb. 11.10).
1.7. Accommodation and food
We can probably find floor/sofa space for most or all attendees so that we are likely not to need any accommodation in a hotel/hostel. BenjaminBerg is the contact for this.
1.8. Previous discussions, organization threads, drafts, relevant links, ''etc''.
1.9. Reports
Here we will link all the blog posts published during or after the hackfest, including information about the work done.
