1.2.1. Description

Sandboxed applications need suitable high-level APIs that let them access resources outside the sandbox in a controlled fashion. xdg-app has the concept of 'portals' for this, and there are implementations of portals for documents and geolocation, but the APIs have not been widely adopted yet.

The goal of this hackfest will be to agree on APIs that can be shared between various sandboxing efforts and toolkits, and to make progress on implementations.
