GNOME Dev World Map
There is a new GNOME Dev community map at http://www.frappr.com/gnomedev for the people that contribute to the GNOME platform!
Therefore, if you are involved in any aspect of GNOME development, please join in! For example, this includes people involved in coding, translating, marketing, porting, quality testing and last but not least documentation writing 
There is a similar initiative at [GnomeWorldWide], however it is not easily accessible and does not update automatically.
