• 1 quart of plain yogurt


  1. Set a colander on top of a large bowl and layer cheesecloth in the colander.
  2. Pour the yogurt on top of the cheesecloth and wrap the excess cloth over the yogurt.
  3. Place the bowl stack in the fridge over night.
  4. Discard the whey (liquid in bowl) and remove the yogurt cheese from the cheesecloth and store in a sealed container in your refrigerator.

To create a herbed or flavored yogurt cheese, simply mix the ingredients for the desired flavor into the yogurt before placing in the cheese cloth.
