• Review Action Items
  • sakana will mail to asking the other potential bidders to remind them that the deadline is approaching. [Done]

  • BinLi will invite Sunny to join the IRC meeting next week. [Done]

  • GNOME Asia Summit 2014
    • Beijing team submit the proposal for GNOME.Asia summit 2014. Everyone discuss the date of GNOME.Asia summit 2014.
    • Karen suggest not to close GUADEC and everyone agree with karen. Beijing team will fix their new date for GNOME.Asia summit 2014.
    • Sammy tried to send to Japan but no reply. Some hidden bidder miss the call for host deadline.
    • Everyone discuss hackfest and workshop for 2014 and suggest Beijing team to have hackfest or training before the conference.
    • sakana suggest we could have something more, like women's dinner or welcome party (if budget agree) first but hold the hackfest next year. Cause there are always newcomers in Asia, maybe we could have "Newcomers Tutorial" next year. Everyone discuss "Newcomers Tutorial" instead of "hackfest" next year.
    • Everyone agree 2 days conference for GNOME.Asia summit 2014.
    • Everyone discuss co-work with openSUSE and Sunny discuss with us.
    • Sunny introduce herself and she want contribute both GNOME and openSUSE.
    • Sunny give some example and benefit to do meeting together, and everyone discuss with sunny.
      • Sunny suggest we could have the same opening session, and set up 2 branches, and if some topics not related to specify GNOME or openSUSE, then we could host this kind of session into big hall / room.
    • Sammy suggest Beijing team should have more information in proposal if they want to co-work with openSUSE team.
    • Everyone will discuss more with openSUSE team in the mail list and thanks Sunny join our IRC Meeting.
