Venue Requirements

This is a page to write down requirements of our GNOME 3.0 hackfest and GNOME.Asia Summit 2011 venue.

Venue booking

Hackfest - Dates

1. March 30 to April 1st, 2011
2. From 9am to 9pm

We will need the following venues

1. 3 rooms (20 people) for hackfest
2. 1 room (50 people) for hackfest
3. 1 or 2 rooms for student training (100 to 200 people) - equipped with computers with GNOME installed
4. 1 room (50 people) for business session

Requirements:

1. All the venue can have Internet access (wifi)
2. All the room have microphones, projectors and white screens
3. All the rooms are not too far from each other

GNOME.Asia Summit - Dates

1. April 2nd and 3rd, 2011
2. From 8am to 6:30pm

We will need the following venues

1. 1 main hall (800 people)
2. 2 smaller halls (100 people)
3. 1 BOF room (50 people, it would be nice to have a big desk)
4. 1 VIP room (30 people, for VIP rest or media interview)
5. Booth area (30 booths - 3m x 3m per booth)

Requirements:

1. All the venue can have Internet access (wifi)
2. All the halls / rooms are not too far from each other
3. All the three tracks of halls and BOF room have microphones, projectors and white screens
