GUADEC needs publicity and promotion.
Immediately after bid acceptance is public.
- The GUADEC Web page should be up to date
- A simple message on twitter about the location.
Once the GUADEC dates, CFP deadlines, and Conference schedule is ready submit the event to these locations. Don't wait for all three to be ready. Announce for each of the above events.
- Engagement team should be told before announcement
- Tweet on both GNOME twitter account and GUADEC twitter account
- Facebook page post
- gnome-announce mailing list
- Blog post (make sure it shows up on planet.gnome.org)
- gnome.org/news
- Update the GUADEC website
- foundation-announce mailing list
