This wiki page is here to explain how the recording team needs to operate in order to work with the different camera sets in the various conference rooms.

Auditorium (ground floor)

Video: Sony (Igalia) Camera (HDD)

• Switch on the Camera
• Just press the REC button (and choose beautiful shots!)

Audio: Audacity on Sony Vaio Laptop

• Switch on the computer and log in (user: Guadec User passwd: guadec)
• Set sampling rate to 48000 if it is not already set (bottom-left corner)
• Just press the REC button in Audacity

• Tell the chairman to do a sync event.

  • A sync event is something seen in both tracks as something easy to align, to have audio and video synced up.

    tl;dr we are using usually three little knocks a bit before the start of the session. Of course, both viceo and audio must be already being recording.
