GNOME 3.16 will be officially released on March 25th 2015. On this page, GNOME friends from different corners of the world can plan celebrating together and having a good time!
Why?
- To celebrate GNOME 3.16
- To promote the GNOME 3.16 release and let everybody know about GNOME and its benefits
- To create talking points and attract local / international press to talk about GNOME
- To build awareness of GNOME in general
Who?
Everybody can hold a GNOME 3.16 launch party, including user groups, FOSS communities, distro communities, universities, NGOs and companies. Just add your plans to the table below.
Note: If you want to join an existing party it might be nice to contact the organizers by email so they know how many people to expect.
When?
GNOME 3.16 will be released on March 25, 2015 and around then is an ideal time to host a launch party.
