GNOME Meeting, Madrid 2004
About the Meeting
The meeting will be in Madrid 11 and 12 November in the Rey Juan Carlos University, with GNOME Hispano, ACM Students and GSyC group as main organizing.
The speechs and in general the meeting will have Spanish as main language, but we accept also speechs in English.
There will be also working in the University laboratories.
We hope around 50 people will be in the Meeting.

What's Happening?
Hackfest
We are doing a coordinated hackfest with all the attendees in the Madrid and Foz de Iguazú meetings. The hackfest will take place on IRC, channel #gnome-hispano on irc.gnome.org.
Things that need to be known for the hackfest:
installation and basic use of jhbuild. This is not really required, since people can just get from CVS the modules they want to hack on and be set. But it's interesting to know about it if the plan is to hack on several modules. jhbuild allows to have a complete development GNOME installation to hack on while not affecting the system's stable one.
searching in Bugzilla. Specially, for beginners, the most interesting thing is to know about the different keywords and, specially, one of them, "easy-fix", which is used to mark bugs that are easy to fix, and hence very appropriate for beginners. This is used both in GNOME's Bugzilla as well as in Ximian's Bugzilla (used for bugs for Evolution).
