[You receive this email because you are listed as a mentor on
https://live.gnome.org/GoogleCodeIn/Tasks ]

Hej hej,

thanks for volunteering to be a Google Code-In (GCI) mentor for GNOME!

The contest starts on Monday (November 21, 08:00 UTC) and since today we
are even able to create tasks in Google's Melange system. ;)

** WHAT YOU SHOULD TO DO NOW: **

1) If you have not done yet, please go to
http://www.google-melange.com/gci/profile/mentor/google/gci2011 to
register yourself for GCI in general.

2) Afterwards, please tell me the email address or link_id that you used
for registering so I can invite you to become a GCI mentor for GNOME
(either reply to this email, or ping andre / andre_ on GIMPnet IRC).

3) After I have invited you as a mentor, check your mail again to finish
the process.

Note: I cannot see if you have registered or finished the process -
better to send one email too much just to be on the safe side.

I am going to take care of importing the tasks from our wikipage to
Google Melange, but I can only set a mentor for a task if the mentor is
already registered (see steps above).

** YOUR AVAILABILITY: **

Stuff happens, so if you will not be available for a while please try to
find a co-mentor and add her/him to the task, or send an email to the
admins (which are JohannesSchmid, DavidKing and AndreKlapper - see our
pages on http://live.gnome.org for contact info).

The GCI Terms of Service state that "The Mentor Organization agrees
[...] To make available a person or persons to evaluate the incoming
completed tasks, within 36 hours of submission, and to decide whether or
not the task has been completed successfully".
I don't take that too seriously, however I don't want trouble either. :)

** MOST IMPORTANT THING: **

Enjoy the contest and have a good time, and in case of questions please
ask.

Cheerio,
andre
