GUADEC Newcomers events and other Engagement activities
- Newcomers lunch on the first day
- Scavenger hunt like we had a few years ago. Bingo card that happens throughout the whole conference.
- Some of the questions should help them interact with oldcomers

- We should have some kind of mentorship at newcomers. 2 -3 newcomers per oldcomer if possible.
- Maybe we can start with the people who are on the newcomers guide.
- It would be nice to set up a page somewhere where we can have people sign up so they can have a better matching
- We can try to do some sports games at the beach. There are going to be balls there.
- If there are design requests, Caroline and Britt can help
- Have a women and allies luncheon on Saturday and then a women's dinner on Sunday
- Will we have a newcomers coding workshop? Bastian is willing to help.
- Coding workshop: let's try to do that on one of the first days. We'll need an afternoon since the workshop is about 4 - 5 hours.
ACTION: Nuritzi to see what the lunch situation is and organize the newcomers lunch. See what the pre-registration event will be like and if we can set up a table or space just for newcomers.
ACTION: @Felipe to create a scavenger hunt / bingo card in time for the newcomers lunch on Friday. Felipe can bring the necessary items (pens and the printed paper)
ACTION: Felipe to ask GUADEC organizers about colored lanyards for photo policy
ACTION: Bastian to message newcomer guide people and see if they can be mentors at GUADEC. Also check with them to see if they can make sure that their apps work now with Flatpak. Felipe and Alberto might be able to help too.
ACTION: @Sri to ask Kat if she can make some button saying "Newcomer Friendly". To ask about colored stickers for badges at registration table newcomers to self-identify.
ACTION: Nurtizi & Sri to ask GUADEC organizers about having a sign with all the newcomer events posted at the registration table (maybe a banner?)
ACTION: Britt to come up with drinking games to play (with non-alcoholic options)

Annual Report status
- There are some articles from Nuritzi and Neil still needed.
- The featured article is very similar to the previous year's article
- We need new pictures. Britt has been collecting some photos so far. Permissions are taken care of. Need a place to put them.

Should be saddle stitch unless there's a rush and it makes a difference. Caroline can help consult.
- Britt and Caroline can also help with layout / design if needed
- About GNOME is the highest priority for Nuritzi to do. Britt might be able to help with the writing if she has the content.
