Annual Report 2017

This is the workspace for the production of the 2017 GNOME Annual Report. The report covers the 2017 financial year, which ran from the beginning of October 2016 to end of September 2017. However, some sections (such as the annual Bugzilla report) cover the 2016 calendar year.

1. Kick-off meeting - Ideas & suggestions, finalize content outline and etc - April 15, 2018

2. Identify and recruit contributors - writers, designer(s), editor(s), proof-readers etc. -

3. Write - First draft of content - (June 8, 2018)

4. Photographs - Gathering of photos, checking licenses (concurrent with #3)

5. Draft review (June 10, 2018)

6. String freeze - final proof-read (June 13, 2018)

7. Editor sign-off (Jun 15, 2018)

8. Design and layout - (June 19, 2018)

9. Design-proofing and approval or feedback - (June 22, 2018)

10. Final design approved (June 25, 2018)Core Apps Hackfest

11. Printing/online production (June 27, 2018)

12. Distribution - (July 6 to 11)
