Annual Report
- We still need a financial section - ACTION: Sri to ping Shaum
- We also still need to select pictures (pictures of contributors + 1 or 2 screenshots) - ACTION: Andreas to make a list of needed pictures
Sources: Daniel Siegel, Ana Rey, Jimmac. Garrett took some pictures at GUADEC and Boston Summit, it would be good to reach to him too.
- License: CCBYSA (because that's the license our website is under)
- We should try to gather the pictures collectively, as we did with writing the articles
Andreas did a layout proposal and shared it with Daniel (https://github.com/gnome-design-team/gnome-marketing/blob/master/annual-report-2012.png)
- Daniel said he was going to create a version with the visual elements before the end of the week
Marketing Hackfest
- Sri, Allan and Karen already mentioned some topics we can discuss during the hackfest
We should start collaborating on an "official" draft of the hackfest agenda in the Wiki - DONE https://live.gnome.org/Hackfests/Marketing2013)
- During the meeting we refined the topics that were suggested on the mailing list.
- ACTION: Sri to email the marketing-list, calling people to suggest more topics and add confirm participation
User Interviews
- Karen proposed this topic, but, unfortunately she was not around anymore when we came to it.
- Moved for next meeting.
Conference Coordination
- 1) Is conference coordination necessary?
- 2) What conferences shoul we attend?
- 3) Do we have papers we should be writing/booths we should be organizing?
List of conferences at https://live.gnome.org/GnomeMarketing/MarketingTeamMeetings/12FEV2013
We should make this list a resource for the Marketing Team - DONE https://live.gnome.org/GnomeEvents
Materials
- Moved for next meeting, we ran out of time.
