How do you handle automatics mails? shopping, mailing lists, spam, petition, bank, etc. are a big part of today mailing ! This can't be tight to contacts… -- ÉtienneBersac 2011-12-04 22:48:52
What about folder views? I think it would be more efficient to add third pane on the left with folder list, like Gmail on iOS. -- KrzysztofWalo 2024-10-23 11:03:25
Flipboard-style functionality---i.e. unified Twitter, Facebook, Google Reader, YouTube, NYT, etc.---may be worth including as well. I personally would find it extremely useful to be able to "process" (GTD term) through my mail and all the other various inputs/inboxen in one go. -- JamesCape
The upload to the cloud idea for attachments could be a nice addition to tie into Gnome Mail. An evolution of this could then allow attachments to be replaced/updated or retired and this could be tracked quite nicely by the app (The attachment 'foo.png' was updated on XX/XX/XX view original) or (The attachment 'secret.odt' is no longer available - request a new link from author?) -- NickGlynn 2024-10-23 11:03:25
Proposed Updates -- matthewsolle
I'm including here some proposed updates and optimisations for a netbook screen to preferences and in particular Adding a new email account and editing the settings for the existing Evolution. The idea is that any work done here could be used for the preferences for any new email app.
Further updates include all of the preferences. Will add more details in regards to plans.
