I've been working in the field of AI for 6 years. I'm a theorist for the most part but I have enough of a practical background to see what's feasible and what's not.
I was interested in Linux since mid-2007, but have only been using it since December 2008. I attempted to use KDE, but found it rather cumbersome in relation to GNOME. That said, the eye-candy is what makes me often think of moving, but I hope that when GNOME 3 is out, there will be no trouble in the eye-candy department.
I'm currently working on Jeeney AI, a next generation chatbot that may hopefully enter the Loebner Prize this year.
My hope for GNOME is the start of an Artificially Intelligent OS. ...
