I'm interested in gnome-shell hacking. I'm currently learning gnome-shell through reading and modifying extensions. Fun Fun Fun with spinning, shrinking, expanding, more-and-less-opaque windows. Still wanting to draw something with cairo, but still learning the gnome-shell apis, particularly, I'm enjoying clutter!
The first time I tried gnome-shell, my opinion of linux was transformed. Before encountering gnome-shell, I believed linux would forever remain aesthetically challenged. But wow, gnome-shell is beautiful. Linux can be beautiful. Who knew?
I'm also interested in learning more about wayland and supporting its development.
Anyway, since gnome-shell, I'm hooked on gnome, and I'm grateful for those who have made linux more usable and pretty than I thought would ever happen. Thanks gnome.
