WebKitGTK+, based on the well known WebKit engine, is a library that allows embedding Web content in desktop applications, and building Web Browsers. It has a familiar GTK+-like API, which makes it very easy to get started for people familiar with the GNOME platform. We intend to provide a quick overview about how the project works, the work that has already been done, what the development team is focusing on currently, and what are the plans for the future.

Gustavo's Bio:

Gustavo is a developer at Collabora, a Debian Developer, and GNOME contributor. He's been working on WebKitGTK+ for fun and profit since mid-2008.

Xan's Bio:

Xan is an Igalian, GNOME contributor and maintainer of the Epiphany web browser. These days he spends a lot of his time hacking on WebKitGTK+ and lamenting its long compilation times.

Christian's Bio:

Christian is a Lanedian, the main developer of the Midori web browser and contributes to GTK+, Xfce and WebKitGTK+.
