There are already some GNOME based desktop wikis or similar applications. Most notably Tomboy (has optional WikiName syntax) has similar functionality. Or you can use MoinMoins DesktopEdition.

I would wish that there would be a common approach to all this - so that the data that is stored could be used by many different applications. At least on some parts - maybe a common desktop wiki standard. I think this can be important, because this is about taking notes and organizing information. It does not make much sense if we have dozent of competing applications with incompatible data formats. -- ThiloPfennig 2007-01-11 19:18:18
