1. Copying files in file manager should allow pasting the paths in any application where it makes sense

This idea comes from finding that:

  1. You copy files in Nautilus (Ctrl+C)

  2. You try to paste it in an application like Totem (Ctrl+V)

does not result in a Drag&Drop kind of result. Same could be true for an URL. Totem uses the last URL in the clipboard as a default if you say "Open Location". It make sense to use the clipboard in that way for local paths also. -- ThiloPfennig 2009-06-28 10:30:52
