Gnome is lacking a powerful and easy-to-use Component system. Bonobo is no solution because it is just to slow. There is a very nice blog entry about this stuff. A new component system seems also to be written in goffice CVS module. But I think it's time to think about the big and complete Gnome Component system and not to do all this stuff behind the scenes where few people make comments about it. JohannesSchmid
