I definitely do not expect you to complete all of the following. I just want to make sure you don't run out of things to do while I'm gone. Feel to trade with one another (except mag/Braille) if you see something you really want to tackle.

Scott

  1. Bug fixes in Braille device/perk as problems discovered
  2. Support additional Braille input gestures. See if you can talk to the BrlTTY fellows or look online for other basic uses of the buttons on a Braille device. Don't go crazy supporting everything, but I suspect their are other simple features for buttons that exist on almost all devices that we should support.
  3. Test Braille on a real device. We have two contacts at IBM who are willing to test once we have LSR packaged in our internal yum repository for them to easily grab as well as an RPM for the latest brltty code out of subversion. They're out until after the new year so there's not much you can do with them for the time being. However, if you know someone else who wants to help us test, feel free to help them get started. You can leave this in the background while working on other tasks below.
  4. Fix for bug #356186: Comboboxes not navigated well during review. More adapter fun. Hopefully not as painful this time.

  5. Fix for bug #383000: Some visible text skipped when reviewing in Firefox. Get a recent Firefox 3.0 (Minefield) nightly build to test. I recommend getting the version that does not install. Just unpack and run it with ./firefox -P lsr so you don't corrupt your default FF profile. Set environment variable MOZ_NO_REMOTE=1 or pass the flag -no-remote (./firefox -P lsr -no-remote) to any new instances opened while another instance is running, so you can run FF3 while keeping your stable version of FF open at the same time. (Otherwise the new instance just notifies a current instance and exits.) Note: The -no-remote flag only works for 1.8 branch and later (Firefox 2.0). For earlier versions the environment variable is the only way to make Firefox ignore existing processes.

  6. Fix for bug #382998 Backwards browsing hang in Firefox

  7. Any bug fixes required for 0.4.0. See the 0.4.0 open bugs list. Coordinate with Eitan so you're not working on the same bug. You can turn on the milestone column in Bugzilla to see all those marked for 0.4.0

  8. Any bug fixes for beyond 0.4.0. See the all open bugs list. Coordinate with Eitan so you're not working on the same bug.

Eitan

  2. Fix for bug #383868: WidgetFactory in SettingChooser never being released

  3. The other project we talked about during the LAP teleconference. The one that IBM legal has yet to approve. I'll send the starting code and instructions privately.
  4. Fix for bug #376101: Support pre-conditions on settings. See new comments in the bug report.

  5. Fix for bug #372684: GTerminalPerk improvements.

  6. Any bug fixes required for 0.4.0. See the 0.4.0 open bugs list. Coordinate with Scott so you're not working on the same bug. You can turn on the milestone column in Bugzilla to see all those marked for 0.4.0
